Display and edit attribute URI

I'm using several clients (9.3.0.5 and 9.6.1.5) and servers (9.3.0.5 and 9.6.1.6) but the data for each of the servers originated in a 9.3.0.5 server.

In none of my client/server combinations can I see the attribute URI using the dialog from an open module Edit > Attributes...

When using the 9.6 client with either server version, I can see/edit the type URI.

Any one have any idea how I can get the attribute URI to show up (or even DXL to get/set)?
